Just a short blog tonight.  We have officially started the first leg of Avery's ride for PKU.  Unfortunately its not on a bike but its driving out to BC.  My dad and I have made it to Beloit Wisconsin, a pretty good day of driving in great weather although it appears that a pretty big storm is coming in.  We made it through the border with no issues despite having a van full of stuff and three bikes hanging off the back.  Was able to stop and pick up a few things from Jon, Kim and Avery.  IT was good to see them before starting this thing off.  Was extremely tough leaving the family at home.  Its going to be a tough few weeks before returning to see them. Jonny asked if he could bike across Canada today so that was super cute.  Someday buddy, someday.   Anyway its late and I'm tired so its off to bed.  Back on the road bright and early tomorrow.  Thanks to everyone for all your prayers and support.
